Tedeschi Trucks Band & Lukas Nelson at McMenamins Edgefield Concerts

Save Friday, August 7, 2026 for an incredible night of live music at the beautiful McMenamins Historic Edgefield Amphitheater in Troutdale, Oregon. Powerhouse soul, funk and roots rock are in store for this special double bill featuring the legendary Tedeschi Trucks Band (soul/funk) and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real (roots/rock). 

Tedeschi Trucks Band

Derek Trucks and singer songwriter Susan Tedeschi, founder of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, are a powerhouse of a group. With soul and funk as the mainstay of their music, which has been received by audiences all over the world, they deliver the highest quality of music. Their new album, I Am the Moon, is a four-part work that highlights the band’s musical range. Songs such as Made Up Mind, Midnight in Harlem and Don’t Know What It Means are delivered with such passion and feeling that you can’t help but be swept up by the music and feel it all the way through your body. The band has received numerous Grammy Awards including Top Blues Album for Revelator.

Lukas Nelson

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real will perform a mix of rootsy, rock and country soulful songs. As the frontman and singer/ songwriter for Promise of the Real, Lukas brings his own unique style to the music of this energetic group of musicians. With hits like ‘Find Yourself’, ‘Four Letter Word’ and ‘Turn Off the News (Build a Garden)’ to name a few, fans of all ages will enjoy his performances. Promise of the Real has been touring in support of their latest album ‘A Few Stars Apart’ where every song is honest and full of personal stories that fans can relate to. Two years ago Lukas, along with the cast and crew of the hit movie ‘A Star Is Born’, was nominated for several Oscars for his writing and performing of the movie’s songs. In the end he did win a couple of awards including Best Actress for the female lead played by Bradley Cooper’s real life partner. Lukas and his real life partner were featured in the movie as well.

McMenamins Historic Edgefield Amphitheater Information

A short description of the venue where this concert will take place. The venue is an beautiful outdoor space. It is part of the historic Edgefield estate that was once a quarry, then became an amusement park and now is home to McMenamins Edgefield. The space is set up for a couple of hundred people to sit and watch a live show just inches from the performers on stage. There are many concession stands throughout the venue that will be serving up a variety of food for you to munch on while you are watching the show.
