Okay bet! So here’s the deal folks — Sunday, September 14th at The Best Day Ever Festival is the type of day that’ll fry our brains with the best music vibes in the city (in the best way possible). If Saturday’s day at the festie was the turn-up, then Sunday is the victory lap — but like, the kind where you sprint the whole way instead of jog. Portland is about to close this thing out with so much fire you might actually need Monday off just to emotionally recover. And you know since its our hometown hero Aminé, he’s got a whole vibe cooked up for his festival to feel like one giant family reunion with music, and by day two, the crowd’s already locked in. Energy is chaotic, people are loose, and the lineup? Unreal.
Thundercat – the funky bass alien himself, hitting us with grooves that’ll have you vibing so hard you forget where you parked.
Smino – slick flows, effortless cool, and the kind of set that feels like a party inside a party.
MIKE – bars that hit you in the chest, raw and heavy, with that underground legend aura.
SoundsByDontā – setting the tone early with pure heat and keeping the energy moving until the big dogs hit the stage.
And don’t get it twisted — this isn’t some mellow Sunday wind-down. Nah. It’s the final boss level of the whole weekend.
The vibes are peaking, the sun’s dropping, and the artists are giving you every ounce of energy left in the tank. Plus, it’s Aminé’s fest—so don’t be surprised if friends, features, or random legends decide to crash the stage for some chaos. You literally can’t predict it, and that’s the fun of it. And Off-stage, you already know the drill — Portland food vendors feeding us, drinks flowing from friends to friends, and a festival design that feels like stepping inside Aminé’s brain. People are running wild, making new friends, maybe falling in love for like three hours — it’s that kind of atmosphere.
Bottom line: Sunday is not a cooldown — it’s a full-send, all-gas-no-brakes grand finale. If you thought Saturday was crazy, wait till you see what happens when Thundercat, Smino, and Aminé’s city collide on closing night. Get your Sunday pass, get loud, and don’t plan anything important Monday morning - we won’t tell your boss you called off for being fake sick, we promise! See ya soon.
