This year, Johnson revealed his comeback to touring by releasing a song with Latin instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez. Their collaboration song Hold On To The Light is also the official teaser for the tour next year. With the lyrics “I want you by my side / Soak it up enough and we could hold on to the light”, they have created the most inviting track for fans to be more than excited for their upcoming tour. The two Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers, Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez, will be entertaining fans with their exemplary musical skills.

Lake Street Dive

The next band that Johnson is bringing on tour is Lake Street Dive. From Boston, Massachusetts, the band was formed in 2004 initially as a “free country band”. With great music inspirations like Fleetwood Mac, Jackson 5, and ABBA, the band has since identified their multi-genre sound to be pop soul and alt-jazz. Their eight albums are currently listened to by 3.2 million users of Spotify monthly.

Garrett Dutton

Johnson’s last guest is no other than Garrett Dutton, or  G.Love of the band G.Love & Special Sauce. The American singer, rapper and musician first got acquainted with Johnson through a mutual friend, and after hearing Johnson’s original composition of Rodeo Clowns, they have become not only colleagues in music but longtime friends as well.
